The Ujima Way Sales Force: (Beginning 2019)

Becoming a sales representative for Ujima Way is a great job opportunity and is a great way to earn a respectable income. Even more important, is the positive impact you will have on the community by helping to raise funds to address some of the most complex problems within your community.

Sales Reps work on the days and times that are convenient to them and they are not required to report to our office. Instead, they work from the comfort of their home or throughout the communities in which they live.

The Ujima Way process relies heavily on the hard work and commitment of our Independent Sales Representatives (ISR’s) and Affiliated Sales Representatives (ASR’s). The Independent and Affiliated Sales Representatives are trained and qualified teens, young adults and adults who solicit funds on behalf of Ujima Way. This innovative approach creates employment opportunities and a source of income for several groups of people within the community. Affiliated Sales Rep’s are individuals who are participating in programs offered by our affiliates or members (ie. shelters, mentoring programs, sports teams or after school programs), who are paid by stipend to solicit donations on Ujima Way's behalf. Unlike Affiliated Sales Rep’s, Independent Sales Rep’s solicit funds on a hourly plus commission basis and solely work on behalf of Ujima Way as independent contractors. Independent Rep’s are are not associated with any agencies or organizations within our network. 

Sales Representatives promote four different donor packages to potential donors who are everyday citizens who make a contribution the Ujima Way, Inc. 

The four donor packages are:

Bronze $1/month

Silver $5/month

Gold $10/month

Platinum$30/month.

Members of the Ujima Way sales force who are also participants in an affiliate program, who earn a 15% commission on all subscription packages sold.
